Card Gift Box

Supplies:

· Cardstock or designer paper (heavy weight)
     1 piece - 8 3/4 x 7 1/2" (cover of box)
     1 piece - 7 7/8 x 6 5/8" (bottom of box)

· Scor-Pal®

· Scor-Tape™ (Double Sided Tape) or glue

· Scissors

Step 1:

Align the 7 7/8 x 6 5/8" cardstock at the  top ruler fence and align the left side against the left fence.      
Score at the 1" groove using the Scor-Pal tool.
Repeat the process for all 4 sides of the cardstock.

Step 2:

Score the  8 3/4 x 7 1/2" cardstock at 1 1/2 inch to all four sides of the cardstock (box cover).

Align the 8 3/4 x 7 1/2" cardstock at the top ruler fence and align the right side against the right fence. 
Score at the 10 1/2" groove using the Scor-Pal tool.
Repeat the process for all 4 sides of the cardstock.

Paper is approximate size

Step 3: Fold at the score lines for both pieces (fold inwards with the designer side on the outside, this is the box bottom). Flatten folds with the Scor-Tool as illustrated

Step 4: At the corners use scissors to cut
towards the center and end at the score line.  Snip off a triangular shape using the score line as your guide.  Repeat the steps for all four corners of each piece.

Step 5: Apply Scor-Tape™ or glue to all four triangular flaps of both pieces. Apply the adhesive on the designer side of the box.

Step 6: Fold the cardstock and adhere the triangular flap on to the inside of the box to hold the box together.

This is the completed box.  It can hold 4 to 5 (A2) handmade
cards (4 1/4 x 5 1/2") as well as envelopes.  Decorate the box
as desired.  Create coordinating handmade cards to match
the theme of your box design.
